Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: BMW F450 GS Concept Bike Showcased

BMW Motorrad has unveiled its F450 GS Concept at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. This adventure bike was first showcased at the 2024 EICMA Show in Italy. It was designed entirely in Germany by BMW Motorrad; the motorcycle will be manufactured in India by TVS, BMW’s trusted partner.
 

The company plans to unveil the production version of the F450 GS next year. Once launched, the bike is expected to be priced at around Rs. 4 lakh (ex-showroom). Let’s know more about this adventure motorcycle. 
 

Design & Engine Details

The F450 GS Concept will have a new, developed 450cc twin-cylinder engine. This motor churns out 48bhp and is highly tuned to ensure strong performance at lower rev ranges. Lightweight magnesium was utilised to reduce engine weight and deliver agile performance for this bike, focusing on offering better handling and performance.
 

BMW created the F450 GS chassis entirely from scratch with the aim of manufacturing it in a way that is agile and versatile. This bike comes with fully adjustable USD front forks and rear shock absorbers with load-dependent damping. Its kerb weight stands at just 175kg, which gives this bike an excellent power-to-weight ratio. That makes it apt for on-road and off-road adventures.
 

High-End Features and Future Plans

The F450 GS Concept comes packed with premium features. It includes lean-sensitive ABS, configurable riding modes, and a 6.5-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity. BMW has announced that the production version will stay true to the concept. To improve accessibility, the production bike will have a more comfortable seat height. Buyers will also have the option to choose cast aluminium wheels, apart from the 19-17-inch cross-spoke wheels seen on the concept.
