Bajaj Auto has shared an exciting teaser for a new Pulsar model. The teaser video features a powerful exhaust note hinting at a liquid-cooled engine. This has sparked rumours among motorcycle fans about the upcoming launch.
The RS200 facelift is expected to launch in January 2025. If it's the RS400, it could arrive soon, as teasers are already out. Moreover, the prices for the updated RS200 may rise slightly, starting around Rs 1.77 lakh.
It left fans guessing if it would be the Pulsar RS400. Bajaj already has the NS400Z platform, through which an RS400 could easily have been supported. If it gets launched, it may take the same 373cc engine seen in the NS400Z, producing 39.4bhp and 35Nm torque. Along with that, this highly potent engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox, which makes it fit for performance lovers.
The RS400 could include premium features like LED lights, traction control, and four ride modes. It may also have USD forks at the front and a gas-charged rear monoshock. Apart from all this, Bajaj might also add dual-channel ABS for better safety.
On the other hand, some think the teaser might suggest a refreshed Pulsar RS200. The bike has been a favourite, but nothing much has happened in the recent past. A 2025 facelift could bring features like Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
The updated RS200 might continue to carry its 199.5cc engine, which develops 24.4PS and 18.7Nm. Bajaj may offer upside-down forks for improved handling and stability. It could add new LED headlamps and fresh colour options for a more premium design.
