Bajaj Launches New Chetak 35 Series Electric Scooter Starting at Rs. 1.20 Lakh

Bajaj Auto has launched the new Chetak 35 series electric scooter in India. It has three versions: 3501, 3502, and 3503. The price for the top model, 3501, begins at Rs. 1.27 lakh. The mid-range 3502 is priced at Rs. 1.20 lakh, and the price of 3503 will be revealed soon.
 

This scooter is inspired by the traditional Chetak design, and it has modern updates. This scooter will have a new smooth finish with turn indicators and LED lights. It has improved the interior for more room by lengthening the floorboard and adding 80mm to its seat. Bajaj has put considerable effort into perfecting its Chetak 35 series. Packed with Features

The Chetak 35 series brings many advanced features, especially in the top-spec 3501. It now includes a touchscreen TFT display with smartphone connectivity. You can access maps, control music, and even manage calls. Safety features like geo-fencing, theft alerts, and accident detection are also included.
 

The mid-spec 3502 has a 5-inch non-touchscreen display and fewer features. Meanwhile, the base 3503 comes with drum brakes at both ends and basic features.
 

Improved Performance and Convenience

This all-new Chetak runs on a powerful 3.5 kWh battery paired with a 4kW motor. It offers a range of 153km on a full charge. Moreover, the EV scooter is ideal for city rides as it has a top speed of 73 kmph. Charging the battery to 80% takes just three hours with the quick charger.
 

Additionally, the battery is now placed in the floorboard area, creating 35 litres of boot space. This is a big improvement over the older model.
