At Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, Yamaha has displayed the 2025 version of their renowned adventure motorbike, the Tenere 700 World Raid. The bike may soon be released, and the manufacturer is thinking about bringing it to the Indian market. Once it is launched, then it will compete with the Honda Transalp and Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE. Here’s all you need to know.
The powertrain of the bike remains the same as that of the 698cc parallel-twin engine. But the clutch cover and gearbox internals have been updated. Additionally, a revised suspension system and broader footpegs are two modifications to the bike. The base model has a monoshock with a remote adjuster and 200mm of travel. It also has two fully adjustable upside-down 43mm forks with 210mm of travel.
Many improvements have been made to the 2025 edition of the motorbike, making it even better than the previous model. With extremely few body panels, the Tenere 700 has an almost minimalistic appearance. Additionally, a large windscreen and a quad-projector LED headlight are installed on the front end. The bike has Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres and rides on wire-spoke wheels, measuring 21 inches up front and 18 inches down back. Furthermore, a 5-inch full-colour TFT panel with smartphone connectivity is included with the motorbike.
In addition, there is a new one-piece rally-style kit, updated indicators, and colour-coordinated body panels. It has two riding modes, Explorer and Sport, and a new ride-by-wire technology, making it more modern in terms of features. Additionally, it has a USB Type-C charging connector and a new 6.3-inch TFT screen in the rally book format.
