Triumph has teased the updated Speed Triple 1200 on its social media platforms. The much-anticipated bike has been under development for a long time. Now, it has various new features, improved mechanics, and potential design updates so that Triumph fans can expect an even better Speed Triple 1200. Though much of the bike’s essence remains the same, new colours, graphics, and advanced technology could make this bike a game-changer.
The new Speed Triple 1200 will retain its iconic design. Its twin bug-eyed headlamps, muscular fuel tank, and slim tail section will still make it instantly recognisable. Moreover, Triumph might introduce new paint schemes and updated graphics for a fresh look. These aesthetic upgrades will likely make the bike more appealing while keeping its original essence intact.
The brand is expected to pack the Speed Triple 1200 with an array of modern rider aids. The bike might include traction control, cornering ABS, and multiple ride modes. Moreover, electronically adjustable suspension could enhance the riding experience by providing better control. These features will make the Speed Triple 1200 more advanced and rider-friendly.
The outgoing model of the Speed Triple 1200 is powered by an inline-triple 1160cc engine. This makes it deliver 177.5 hp and 125 Nm of torque. The new model will probably be offered with this potent engine coupled with a six-speed gearbox. Furthermore, the braking hardware may also be upgraded for improved performance.
The teaser by the company has indicated that the launch is going to happen very soon. Expectations for Speed Triple 1200 would be coming with some old designs along with new upgrades. The high-tech features, robust engine and improved suspension make it one of the most desirable motorcycles in the premium category.
