Ducati Multistrada V2 Debuts At Intermot: Is India going to get it next year?

The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 made its debut at the Intermot trade show in Cologne, bringing a lot of upgrades. These models have the latest 890 cc V-twin engine, similar to the Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2. Moreover, the new models have less weight and more power. Thus, equipped with aluminium monocoque chassis for enhanced performance.
 

Launch & Pricing

Beginning in January 2025, the 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 and V2 S will be accessible worldwide. An Indian debut is projected later this year. The current variants are priced at ₹16.35 lakh for the V2 and ₹18.99 lakh for the V2 S, while the exact prices in India are still not announced. Assuming that the new models will cost a little more than the previous versions.
 

Engine and Performance

The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 is driven by the brand's latest V2 engine, weighing just 54.4 kg. Due to variable intake valve timing, the engine delivers a broader power range, ensuring sharp low-end response while also providing touring-friendly comfort with a long sixth gear for better fuel efficiency. Shorter first and second gears enhance agility, while the Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 allows for smooth gear shifts.
 

Chassis and Suspension

By weighing 18 kg less than the prior model, the new aluminium monocoque frame improves cornering stability. A new steel trellis subframe and a thinner tail section for increased rider comfort complete this frame.
 

The V2 comes with a fully adjustable Marzocchi suspension, while the V2 S is equipped with Ducati Skyhook semi-active suspension, offering 170 mm of travel. Additionally, this system adapts to varying road conditions for a smoother ride. The bike’s braking is handled by Brembo, featuring twin 320 mm front discs and a 265 mm rear disc, ensuring solid stopping power.
 

Technology and Features

The new five-inch TFT colour display that comes with the Multistrada V2 has a user interface that is easier to operate. The driving modes include Enduro, Sport, Touring, Urban, and the all-new Wet mode. Make adjustments to important performance factors, including engine braking, power delivery, traction, and anti-wheelie. In addition, the bike has cruise control, turn-by-turn navigation, and independent suspension modes. Furthermore, new aerodynamic deflectors and air ducts increase airflow to the rider's legs and help with heat dissipation enhancing riding comfort.
 

The 2025 Multistrada V2 gets a more streamlined front end with LED DRLs similar to the Panigale. For a sleeker, more contemporary appearance, the rear end also gains from integrated indicators and a new, smaller tail light.
