The updated Pulsar RS200 model was launched by Bajaj Auto to the Indian market, with a starting price of Rs 1.84 lakh. Notably, this is the only fully faired bike in the brand's portfolio. Additionally, it maintains the Pulsar name with a 200cc engine. So, let’s take a closer look at the new RS200 and see what changes the company has made to it.
The bike was first introduced in 2015 and has several features that set it apart from the other motorcycles in the lineup. Now, the Bajaj Auto has launched the upgraded Pulsar RS 200 in India. The bike has undergone several modifications, and it now has more features and a higher asking price.
First, the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 maintains a design that is quite similar to its predecessor. Its twin-projector LED headlight arrangement is still present, along with brown-looking DRLs and a windscreen above it. The side mirrors were likewise mounted on the headlamp cluster by the brand. The bike's aggressive appearance is further enhanced by the sharp lines that still appear on the fairing. Additionally, the brand has included images that emphasise its sporty look.
Coming to the powertrain, it is powered by a 200 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It generates 24 bhp at 9,750 rpm and 18.74 Nm of maximum torque at 8,000 rpm. Moreover, it is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a wet multi-plate clutch. Furthermore, the company has included a slipper and assist feature to provide seamless gear changes.
The bike has an anti-friction bush and a telescopic front suspension for comfort. As well as a Nitrox mono shock absorber with a canister in the back. A 230 mm disc brake at the back and a 300 mm disc brake at the front have been fitted by the company to help stop the bike. Moreover, 17-inch wheels support this.
The brand's improvements also include the addition of an LCD display. Both Bluetooth communication and instrument clustering are made possible by this. The list of features also includes gear indication, turn-by-turn navigation, and SMS and phone notifications. There will be three riding modes available on the bike: road, off-road, and rain.
